Oral History Project

We are seeking funding to support our Oral History Project, which aims to record, preserve, and share firsthand accounts from local community elders and leaders.

This project will capture unique personal stories that are not always represented in traditional archives. Funding will directly support recording equipment, transcription services, travel expenses, research support, and the creation of a public digital archive.

Your investment will ensure that these important voices are preserved for future generations, providing students, researchers, and the public with access to rich historical materials that deepen our collective understanding of our communities.

We are excited to partner with organizations and donors who share our commitment to preserving living history and making it accessible to all.

Digital History Research Lab

We are seeking funding to establish and expand a Digital History Research Lab, dedicated to using technology to explore, preserve, and present historical narratives in innovative ways.

Funding will support essential needs such as digitization equipment, software for data analysis and mapping, research fellowships, and public access initiatives. Our lab will enable historians, students, and community members to engage with history through digital archives, interactive exhibits, virtual reality

reconstructions, and online storytelling platforms.

Your support will empower new generations of scholars and citizens to connect with history in dynamic, accessible ways, ensuring that the past is preserved and reimagined for the future.

History Internships

We are seeking funding to support History Internships designed to provide students with hands-on experience in the field of history. These internships will offer opportunities to work in museums, archives, historical sites, and research projects, providing valuable professional development and academic growth.

Funding will be used to cover intern stipends, training, mentorship, and project costs. By supporting these internships, you’ll help equip the next generation of historians, curators, and educators with essential skills and real-world experience.

Your contribution will create opportunities for young people to actively contribute to preserving and interpreting history.

Funding will be used for scholarships, educational materials, transportation, and camp staff to provide a comprehensive and enriching program. By supporting this camp, you will help inspire the next generation of historians and deepen their understanding of the past.

Your contribution will ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the opportunity to experience the richness of history in a fun and educational setting.
